Silverstone Industrial Development application rejected

Proposals to expand a small industrial site near Silverstone have been turned down by planners

This week South Northamptonshire refused an outline application for 10 commercial units covering around 3,650msq along with a solar park that would power the businesses, on land next to the Linnell's wood yard off the A413.

Book now for Children's holiday activities

Booking lines open for Easter activity hubs

Booking lines opened this week for the popular programme of children's holiday activity run by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC).

SNC's Easter activity hubs will include a blend of sports, arts, crafts and games to keep young people happy and healthy while they are off school.

Councils appoint new Joint Chief Executive

Neighbourhood Plan volunteers meet

On Monday, 6th March, 15 volunteers from both the Parish Council and Silverstone Village gathered for the first time as we embark on research for the production of a Neighbourhood Plan.

6 week Parish Plan Consultation Period open

South Northants Council has now opened the consultation plan for the deposited Silverstone Parish Plan and Design Statement. 63 organisations have been invited to comment on the plan, including representatives of fevelopers as well as various statutory bodies.
