Good attendance at Neighbourhood Planning Information Session

The meeting was attended by 30 residents, 7 Councillors, a representative from ACRE and one non villager from Wellingborough.

The advantages and disadvantages of progressing from a Parish Plan and developing a Neighbourhood Plan were discussed in detail, led by Andy d'Arcy, Lead Officer Planning Policy, on behalf of the District Council. Many questions were raised and points discussed, but this was an information meeting, not a decision making one. Only the Parish Council can make a decision on whether to proceed further.

The Agenda for the next Parish Council meeting which will take place on 13th February will be published on 6th. February. Feedback from the meeting will be an agenda topic. At the time of posting this, whether there will be a more substantive motion put to the meeting is uncertain.
