Positive progress for Silverstone Parish Plan and Design Statement

Silverstone Parish Plan and Village Design Statement

The Parish Plan and Village Design statement have been sent to South Northants Council to go forward for adoption by them as a Supplementary Planning Document to then be considered against future planning applications.

The documents will also be sent to the Planning Inspectorate to be considered as part of the Appeal papers on the Church Street planning application Refusal.

Finalised version of the Parish Plan and Village Design Statement

The Parish Plan and Village Design Statement is now finalised and will form an important basis for the development of a Neighbourhood Plan.

It is a very worthwhile read and gives a fascinating insight to the history, morphology, community, village structure and much more including possible future development within Silverstone.

6 week Parish Plan Consultation Period open

South Northants Council has now opened the consultation plan for the deposited Silverstone Parish Plan and Design Statement. 63 organisations have been invited to comment on the plan, including representatives of fevelopers as well as various statutory bodies. Parish Plan - Updated version

Following the public consultation exercise last month, the Parish Plan and Design Statement has been updated to take into account the views of respondents. It is this updated version that is being submitted for consideration and approval by South Northamptonshire Council.

Parish Council approves amended Parish Plan.

At its meeting on Monday, the Parish Councillors present voted unanimously to support the amended Parish Plan and Village Design Statement, following the support the draft document had received at the exhibition last month. Over 200 attend Parish Plan Exhibition

The official count of those who attended the Parish Plan exhibition in the Church Rooms on Friday and Saturday, 2nd and 3rd December was 222.
